1. First you will need to buy pineapple from the market, and make sure it is well ripe. Also make sure that it is organic in order to avoid the crop chemicals
2. Remove the crown from the fruit (use a knife or twist it), and the pieces of pulp that might stick out. This is important because you will prevent from rotting the crown during the process
3. Take one bowl and fill it up with water. Next you will need to dip the trunk of the crown and leave it there until you notice it begins to release roots. Make sure that you change the water on daily basis
4. Once you notice the roots are growing you should prepare the pot where you will grow the plant. Make sure that you use large and deep pot. Use 2/3 fertile soil and 1/3 white sand
5. Next, since the roots have grown you should transfer the crown into the pot with soil. Before you transfer it you have to make sure they are at least 1cm long. Use the earth to cover the roots.
6. Put the pot on a place where it can get as much as possible sunlight. Also you will need to water the plant once a day.
7. After three weeks you should see the leaves beginning to grow. This will mean that the roots have done their job and the plant will start to grow.
8. As time passes you will notice that the leaves continue to grow and stem will appear in the center. Also after some time the new fruit will appear
9. The process of growing the plant will take up to 15-20 month in order to have the first fruits.
